Northwestern University sponsored an exhibit, "World Order: Visions of Emerging Realities", and I was invited to participate as one of the artists. Additional artists included: Ricardo Frazer, Bruce Johnson, Kai Kambel, and Michael Greenburg, comprising a significant presence of the Art as Ritual movement. Having nothing relative at the time, I committed to doing a work apropos having weeks for completion. Motif in the imagery was inspired by the Goode homolosine projection or often called an, "orange-peel map." The work represents an unbiased selection of notable advocates for equality of African decent bridging centuries and shorelines, interpreting Goode homolosine in a figurative manner. Having seen many colloquial spellings in southern United States and in Jamaica, I decided to title the work following that tradition. This special is one of 2 exclusive offset lithographs I produced and published available of my work in circulation, and now being offered at a reduced price for a limited time only. Print image dimension is 40" x 24", with a limited edition size of 2000, on 100lb acid free cold press.
