Chief Sielu Avea

While visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center on the northern shore of Oahu, Hawaii, I was amazed at the tattoo/tatau art work covering the body of Chief Sielu Avea. This chief is a world renowned ambassador, entertainer, educator and Chief Sielu Avea, whose formal title awarded to him in 1986, by the Head of State of Independent Samoa is, Malietoa Tauasa Folo Sielu Avea, and a living inspiration to many of us.
